Hello! I’m going to go with a little bit different kind of post today than I usually do on Fridays. I hope that’s OK with you.
To be honest, it’s been kind of an unusual week here in markoaten land. Lots of my blogging friends have dropped out of the blogging scene (even if only temporarily), and I’m feeling a little lost without them. I’m looking forward to making new connections, but I’m sad about those that have left.
Plus, I’m running on three hours less sleep than usual from the storms that kept me up last night. That might be creating some of the fog I’m feeling today.
Guest Post Goodness
If you didn’t get to check out the fantastic guest post Bernice from Living the Balance Life had here on Tuesday, please do. It’s a wonderfully written post and I know you’ll find it helpful.
Next Monday, I’ll be running a guest post from D/Anon from Vagabonding (part time). It will be his first ever guest post and it was written entirely from his iPhone while lounging in a hammock. You’ll won’t want to miss it!
Also on Monday, you’ll find me guest posting over at Jeff & Gena’s fabulous Ha Nui Loa!
I’ve also been working on a little project the past couple of weeks — an e-book about the psychological effects of advertising on humans, only without the textbook tone. It’s in the beginning stages right now, but I’m considering publishing the first chapter here in the coming weeks to get your feedback.
Is this a subject you would be interested in reading about? Would you be interested in sharing your insights with me?
I’m likely going to be switching to a larger server in the coming weeks as well. The traffic to this little blog got high enough this week (thank you!) that the server it was on crashed temporarily. This is the second time this has happened in the past couple of weeks. I didn’t expect to be experiencing growing pains so soon, but I’m super grateful that I am.
Connect With Me!
Are you on Facebook? What about Twitter? You can find me on both, so feel free to connect with me there. Or you can drop me an email through the contact form under the about menu too. And, of course, you can always leave a comment to connect with me right here! I love hearing from you!
