I live in the village of Bramdean and know how
important it is to protect our rural communities.
I want to make sure we keep vital local services such as post offices, shops and pubs. That's why I support schemes which will allow these services to merge. This way a community hub can be maintained. I believe more resources should go to village halls. That's why I have lobbied government ministers in the past to stop changes to licensing laws that would cause problems when halls are hired out for events.
