Badge for Veterans
Can I bring to the attention of all those who served in the UK Armed Forces before 31 December, 1969, that they might be entitled to a “Veterans Badge”.
The following can also qualify: Merchant Navy seamen, Home Guard, Polish Forces under UK command, members of the Cyprus Regiment during the Second World War, Veterans of the Suez Canal Zone (1951-54), as well as war widows or widowers who receive a War Widows/Widowers Pension.
The Badge cannot be issued posthumously as it is a survivors’ badge, which is to be worn on civilian clothing.
